The Problem

At the moment there are several SSI solutions. Not everyone is aware of the possibilities. There are different wallets and protocols that cannot interact with each other. When you don’t know how to use it, it might be difficult.

The solution

With our building blocks we can provide easiness to use. With the Identity API it is possible to connect with one API call to your use-case and create credentials. These credentials can be sent to a holder’s wallet. This wallet is also a component we provide for you to test with. Are you more a player on the integration and interoperability layer? Long term vision

Our long term vision is to see everyone using SSI in their own way. Choosing their own wallet and don’t have issues with connecting and interoperability. A wallet should be easy to use, and must be able to connect with different protocols.

The Problem

Vendor lock-in has centralised the web and turned it into a digital dystopia where users are algorithmically manipulated by the highest bidders. These silos are also a honeypot for hackers wishing to exploit user credentials for identity theft, the fines for the Equifax hack was over half a billion alone and user liability for identity fraud was similar!

The solution

Hermitage is a GDPR compliant data store leveraging human-centric design and putting users back in the driving seat. This relieves companies from storing their data significantly de-risking their activities. For users, they can port their data to services they trust without vendor lock-in.

It’s 2030 and the SDG goals have been exceeded thanks to an internet that was reinvented to work just like nature. Collective intelligence saved the day; local people learned to self organise, share resources, accept and embrace differences and deal with complexity – largely in part with the aid of artificial general intelligence, which learned from everyone on the planet.

The Problem

For SSI to succeed we need interop between *all* SSI networks and wallets (blockchain and non-blockchain). Without that, SSI solutions remain ’local’; and are not truly an infrastructure: consumers then need a different wallet for different services. Imagine businesses needing 5 credentials to create a service, each from a different network/wallet… How can we make it easy to create SSI for all?

The solution

We create two generic SSI-components: 1. The SSI service provider has very simple API’s for business applications to request (verify) and/or provide (issue) data (credentials), and interoperates with multiple different (holder) wallets (now: IRMA, Jolocom, eSatus). Long term vision

After 10 years we have an SSI-infrastructure, that is vendor-agnostic, easy to connect to, and pervasively used by govts, orgs and individuals to transact online. They are glad so much time and money is saved and *quality data* is now a commodity. Individuals are relieved by the ease of filling in forms, that the privacy-preserving properties it has.

The Problem

People are starting to realize the value of their personal data. With the introduction of SSI, there’s a solution to regain control over your data. Although it’s great to be able to store your data in a personal wallet, it doesn’t have any value if you can’t use it anywhere! WorkPi is trying to solve the user adoption problem by providing a way to put your data to use.

Instead of logging in with LinkedIn (and giving away all your data), you can use an SSI wallet linked to your diplomas, certificates, assessments, peer reviews or references in your WorkPi Data Profile. The Problem

Self-Sovereign Identity is an amazing concept which gives the power of managing and sharing personal data back to the identity holder, where it belongs! However, authorizing people to issue credentials for companies is pretty difficult. We hope to tackle this during Momentum 2020! Please view our board in order to connect to our SSI service.

The solution

We fix this with our decentralized mandate service. Our service supports different types of mandates (rule based, short term and revocable). It complies with the GDPR legislation and can be used by any type of wallet. Long term vision

Companies and citizens authorize others without the need of central identity providers and registers of big tech companies or governmental institutions using the wallets they like. The control is given back to the users.
